How do I pay for this?
I take most major insurances. However, I am aware some people do not want to use insurance for privacy purposes. I also offer an out-of-pocket fee for those not using insurance. I also offer a sliding scale fee for those who need a more affordable option. This is an household income based scale.

Some clients choose not to use their health insurance for therapy for a variety of personal and practical reasons. One common concern is privacy. When insurance is used, a mental health diagnosis is typically required and certain information about treatment may be shared with the insurance company for billing and authorization purposes. Some individuals prefer to keep their mental health care separate from their insurance records. Others may find that using insurance limits their choice of therapist, the length or frequency of sessions, or the types of services covered. Paying privately can offer greater flexibility, confidentiality, and control over treatment decisions. The decision to use or not use insurance is a personal one, and clients may choose the option that best fits their needs, preferences, and circumstances.

My out-of-pocket fee is 130.00. For some, this is too high. Please contact me for my sliding scale to get you the best price according to your household income.
