Meet Autumn Green

A Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern from Capella University Supervised by Vanessa Degollado, M.Ed., LPC.

A bit about Autumn:

I’m a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast of Texas, and when I’m not studying or working toward my degree, I’m usually at home being a proud pet parent to my four cats with my husband. I love boba tea, trying new foods, and discovering new places. While I’m definitely more of a homebody, I also love traveling outside of Texas and experiencing different places, cultures, and ways of life. I bring that same curiosity and openness into counseling, believing that every person has a unique story worth understanding.

Her approach:

My approach to counseling is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I’m especially interested in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. I believe every client deserves a trustworthy, judgment-free space where they can feel safe, respected, heard, and understood. I’m a down-to-earth person who genuinely enjoys learning about people’s experiences and what has shaped them. My goal is to meet clients where they are, walk alongside them without judgment, and help them recognize that even when life feels overwhelming, things can get better. My experience includes counseling residency and mock therapy sessions with fellow aspiring counselors, as well as my work as a medical assistant, where I have the opportunity to listen to and support patients navigating difficult and sometimes traumatic medical experiences.

I offer sessions for 50.00 for individuals and 60.00 for couples.
